Synapse-AI Legal

DRAFT — REVIEW WITH LEGAL COUNSEL BEFORE SHIPPING TO USERS.

Last updated: 2026-05-03

Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Synapse-AI. By creating an account you accept them.

Eligibility

You must be an enrolled advocate (or eligible legal professional) in India and at least 18 years old. Synapse-AI is provided for professional legal practice; consumer / non-professional use is out of scope.

Account

  • You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and any actions taken under them.
  • One account per advocate. Sharing credentials between advocates violates the per-seat licensing model — use Firm Seats instead.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, applicable law, or generate excessive abuse signals (rate-limit thrashing, malformed requests, etc.).

Subscription and billing

  • Synapse-AI is provided under a subscription model. Plans are described at app.synapse.ai/plans.
  • During the V1 sandbox period, billing is exercised via test Razorpay credentials and no real charges are made.
  • Live billing terms (refunds, plan changes, dunning) will be published before the live-billing rollout. Accepting this document does not constitute acceptance of those future terms.

Acceptable use

  • You will not use Synapse-AI to draft documents for fraudulent matters, money-laundering, or any matter prohibited under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita / Indian Penal Code.
  • You will not attempt to reverse-engineer the prompts, fine-tunes, or model wiring; you will not scrape the bare-acts corpus or the case-law index for redistribution.

Intellectual property

  • You retain ownership of all case data you upload (transcripts, facts, drafts, attached documents).
  • Synapse-AI retains ownership of the platform, prompts, models, fine-tunes, and statute corpus indexing.
  • Drafts produced via Synapse-AI are your work product; the platform asserts no claim on the resulting documents.

Disclaimers

Synapse-AI is an assistive tool. It does not replace your professional judgement. The platform may produce inaccurate or incomplete output; you must review every fact, citation, and draft before relying on it. We make no warranty that the generated text is correct, current, or fit for any particular matter.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Disputes

Disputes will be resolved by the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, under Indian law.

Updates

We may revise these terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Material changes will be surfaced in-app on next sign-in; continued use after a revision constitutes acceptance.
