Why this exists

Indian advocates spend a meaningful share of every workday on data entry — re-typing what was just said in a consultation, chasing dates, hand-stitching pleadings from notes that drift from the source. Generic AI tools amplify the drift; they do not solve it. Synapse-AI starts from the consultation, captures it as it happens, and grounds every downstream artifact — facts, research, drafts, strategy — in the same anchor.

We call it the Cursor for Law: every action is grounded in the case timeline, no hallucinations, no copy-pastes from a generic LLM that has never seen the matter at hand.

Founder

Synapse-AI is founded by an advocate-engineer who watched a decade of practice get bottlenecked by data entry, and who spent the last year building the operating system that removes the bottleneck. (Detailed bio + LinkedIn lands here post-launch — pre-launch, the work speaks for itself.)

The India stack

The whole pipeline runs on India-resident infrastructure: Sarvam (Hyderabad) for ASR, Supabase India-South (Mumbai) for data + auth + storage, FastAPI deployed in the same region for orchestration. Anthropic does not have an India inference geo yet — until it does, all Claude calls originate from our India-hosted backend with PII redacted before egress. We re-evaluate that boundary every month and will move to India-region the day it is available.

DPDPA posture

Privacy is not a feature, it is the foundation. Recording is explicit; PII redaction happens before any AI call; Anthropic Zero-Data-Retention is wired in code and waits on the enterprise contract; DPDPA Privacy Mode and Hard Purge are first-class controls in the app. The full audit and DPDPA disclosure live on /legal/dpdpa.
